The Dhaun gymnasium was built in 1926 by the Dhaun Castle Gymnastics Club (formerly the Dhaun Games Association) with a lot of personal work and the support of local manufacturers.
In 1998 the municipality of Dhaun took over the hall and used it as a community center and made it available to the gymnastics club and the citizens for celebrations and club work.
When I visited, a big "two-stroke meeting" (motorcycle) was taking place.
