Very nice manor. It's also worth looking at the inside of the courtyard 😊🦊

Since the 17th century, the place in the Heldrungen office has been continuously owned by the von Trebra family. The manor house was built in 1722 and a new chapel was solemnly consecrated there on November 22nd, 1736. In the early 1920s, the last major renovations and new constructions of the farm buildings took place before the Second World War. [2]

After the Red Army marched into Thuringia, the von Trebra family were expropriated without compensation and were expelled. The GDR administration determined the conversion of the farm into a state-owned property (VEG). The chapel still in a side wing of the manor house, which had been used for worship by the estate and village residents, was removed. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the state-owned estate was closed. Georg von Bismarck, a grandson of the previous owner Hans von Trebra, leased the property from the Treuhandanstalt in 1992 [3]. After many years of efforts, the family was able to take over the estate and part of the cultivation area
