Nice hike with lots of highlights. The Belvedere Park is definitely worth a visit. Belvedere is the Buga branch.
The use of a number of buildings by the music high school is particularly interesting.

Unfortunately, the GPS signal went "crazy" in the Belvedere park area. So too much altitude is shown.

Exemplarily signposted hike around Wölfis with nice resting places. The hike is characterized by wonderful views to the Inselberg, Schneekopf, Kienberg, to the military training area ...., the semi-open pasture landscape with various native cattle and horses, various idyllic ponds and the remains of the ammunition factories. A very interesting information point has been set up in a former bunker. Unfortunately today we only saw the animals from afar in the huge pastures.

The Bad Tabarzer Kneipp spa mile is a nice hiking trail. From Spindlerplatz with cafe and Italians, it goes to the Lauchagrund over the fairy tale meadow to the Arenaris spring. Of course we use the Kneipp pool. Very refreshing. Next we pass the ski jump. The rhododendron park is very well attended as the bushes are currently bloom very beautifully. The neighboring climbing park is unfortunately still closed due to the corona. We also use the Inselbergquelle Kneipp treading pool. Via the district of Cabarz, it goes back to Tabarz via the Winkelhof spa park.
Although there is a flyer for this hike, it is not actually signposted. A nice walk with nice little highlights.

A nice little hike through the Harth, a southeastern branch of the Hainich, west of Bad Langensalza. The first part took us through a wonderful green deciduous forest. Spring is finally coming. At the bottom a sea of lilies of the valley, just about to bloom. Some of the paths are still a bit matched. In the second third you can always enjoy beautiful views of the Thuringian Forest and the Inselsberg. The rapeseed, which is currently (late) blooming, is also picturesque. The last third is then no longer so attractive. Paved paths and annoying insects that harass us but fortunately don't sting. The inviting Harth house with varied outdoor areas (game reserve, playground and beer garden) is located at the parking lot. Unfortunately at the moment Still slowed down in terms of corona, but a bratwurst is still possible at least on the weekend. The round can be done with all-terrain pushchairs. The hike is suitable for families and is a particularly nice destination for geocachers (Kleine Harth-Runde x).

As part of the Buga 2021 in Erfurt, investments were made in the expansion of a landscape park along the Gera River, which is available to Erfurt and guests free of charge during and after the Buga. Many places are still being built. More than 50,000 people live in the north of Erfurt. One of the largest inner-city landscape parks in Thuringia is being created - the northern Geraaue. 5 km long and sometimes several hundred meters wide, a green band is created along the Gera, an approx. 60 ha natural idyll. We think the facilities are very worth seeing, varied and very valuable for this area of Erfurt. We hope that this area can be adequately maintained after the Buga and will be preserved for a long time.

We drove this beautiful lap around the three equals in wonderful weather.
We drove on the chain of cities from Wandersleben to Ingersleben. On the way to Molsdorf, two hares kept hooking their hooks. In Molsdorf, a visit to the park is worthwhile and a guided tour of the castle is also recommended for the period after Corona. We weren't there today and didn't take any pictures because we already know the facility.

We continue on the secluded straight cycle path. In ichterhausen we are impressed by what has emerged from the old needle factory. amt-wachsenburg.de/familien-und-freizeit/kultur-kongressz
The absolute highlight today is an ice cream sundae to go from the Hartlieb ice cream parlor in Rudisleben. Via Haarhausen and Holzhausen it goes over the new cycle path to Mühlberg. There we do a few laps through the Kneippnecken am Spring. Highly Recommended. From Mühlberg we go home to Wandersleben and we can take another look at all three castles.

This hike should be done when visibility is good. The views of the Inselsberg and the Hörselberge are very beautiful. From the Hütscheroda hiking car park, the route goes along yellow-flowered rapeseed fields to Behringen. Here we stroll through the place. The castle hotel with a very beautiful bay window and the 200-year old wormouth pine in the castle park are well worth seeing. Along the Hainichlandweg with its many sculptures it goes back to Hütscheroda. We find some quite appealing, some we can't do much with. Unfortunately, the signs are missing on some of the sculptures. Another very nice hike.

Worthwhile hike that is so different from the tours we usually go on. Through wide corridors, fruit tree avenues and many old orchards, this tour is the opposite of a forest hike. This tour is particularly worthwhile in spring when the fruit trees are in bloom and in autumn when you can taste the fruit.
The highlight of the hike is a visit to the old Camposanto cemetery in Buttstädt.

This is lovingly maintained by an association and will be the Buga branch in Erfurt in 2021. lg-buttstaedt.de/landgemeinde-erleben/camposanto

On Friday, April 23 has opened the Federal Garden Show Erfurt after more than 10 years of preparation. Due to Corona, the last 2 weeks with regard to the opening were certainly a shaking game. Since I have a season ticket, I took the chance today. I liked both parts on the Petersberg and on EGA very much. Although all exhibitions are closed inside, it was worth it. I particularly liked the Erfurt garden treasures in the fortress moat on the Petersberg. The two parts of the exhibition are about 25 minutes apart on foot. But you can also use tram line 2 (included in the day ticket).
Attention: You definitely need a daily access card (to be booked online also for season tickets) and a current negative corona test (max. 24 hours old, no self-test, currently no test sites available at Buga)
