The Heinersdorfer See is located directly at the village of Heinersdorf and was created during the ice age. A road embankment divides the lake into the small and large Heinersdorfer lake. The total size is about 80 hectares. Experts have come to the view that the water quality of the lake has "recovered significantly" in recent years.
The bathing area is approx. 1.3 km northeast of the town center, can be reached directly by car (small parking lot directly at the bathing area) and has a large lawn for sunbathing.translated by
