    Natural paradise of human hands
The natural floodplain landscape of the Binger Kribben barely suggests that this is a technical structure (groynes). Originally built to improve the navigability of the Rhine at the "Binger Loch", the lush vegetation now only partially clears the view of the stone groynes.
As a bird protection and FFH area, the Bingen Kribben are subject to European protection status. Visitors are asked to behave considerately and not to interfere with the wildlife.
