Tips
A peak that is easy to reach from the Hochwurzen mountain station. The Guschen is 1,982 metres high and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Dachstein massif and the Schladminger Tauern.

From the mountain station of the Hochwurzen cable car, follow path no. 60 over the "Kleine Wurzen" through the forest to the Hüttecksattel (1,744 m), from where the path climbs gently to the long ridge of the Rossfeld (1,919 m). When you cross the ridge, you can guess where the mountain got its name from. From the Rossfeld, the path continues slightly downhill to the crossroads at the Latterfußsattel (1,792 m).
