The Ursprungalm is a managed hut in the Almdorf of the same name, which is picturesquely situated at the foot of the Steirische Kalkspitze. The Ursprungalm, located at 1,604 meters above sea level in the wild and romantic Preuneggtal, is also used as a starting point for further hikes in the Schladminger Tauern.
