Shinobazu Pond

The Shinobazu is a large pond that invites you to linger. It is located next to Ueno Park.
Watching birds, fish or the nature with the high-rise buildings in the background - that is snowing off.

The Shinobazu Pond is a large natural lake that is full of lush vegetation and of great cultural importance. The pond consists of three sections: a duck pond with ducks and other native water birds, a lotus pond and a boat pond.
There is a rental between the lotus and boat pond where you can rent small paddle boats to admire the park from a different perspective. There are three different types of boats available: row boats, pedal boats and swan boats.
