The main train station of Tokyo is worth seeing, provided you get the crowds clear. Here you can watch the hustle and bustle and both the Shinkansen's of JR Central, including those of JR East marvel.

Tokyo Station and its beautiful, nostalgic red brick building are on the list of every Japan tourist's must-see. In addition to its impressive value as a tourist attraction, Tokyo Station is also an important hub, which is not only served by the major JR lines such as Yamanote and Chuo, but also an important station for several Shinkansen. Around 3,000 trains enter and exit Tokyo Station in a single day. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants on the station grounds, which offer relaxation for tired legs as well as great opportunities to shop for unique souvenirs.

From the top, the station looks really modestly classic and relatively small compared to the hustle and bustle and the size of the various underground passages and floors.
The buzz is fascinating.
