One of my favorite rest areas. In addition to the great, idyllic forest location, there is also the Carl Friedrich spring and a Kneipp bath pool.

In 1878, an obelisk was erected here in honor of the Grand Duke Carl Friedrich, and the square was named after him in the middle of Dammbachsgrund. Today a nice resting place, with attached Kneipp basin.
