The Monastery Cornberg is a listed former Benedictine monastery in Cornberg, which was built in the years 1292-1296. Napoleon's sister is said to have stayed here on a trip.
Adjacent to a sandstone museum where numerous fossils from the copper shale of the Richelsdorfer mountains and the Cornberger Zechstein give an impression of the biodiversity of marine animals and plants from the original region.
In addition to the monastery, a beautiful little natural lake.
