This natural spring is located in a small ornamental / wildflower garden below the Kalkofen leisure area near Berneburg, directly on the bike path. You can take chilled refreshments (drinks) for a small donation directly from the source.
Nice, cozy rest area with seating.
About 50m away from this source, at the driveway to the leisure area, there is a historic lime kiln hidden in the undergrowth for the production of quicklime from limestone.
The rest of the lime kiln has a two-storey structure made of brick masonry.

Original, something different, enjoyable on the tour, one likes to see.
