At the northern boundary of Rautenhausen is the privately owned former forester's lodge or forester's service farm. Here at the bottom of the valley was the village of Bubenbach, which was first documented in 1230 and fell desolate in the 15th century. In 1296, the nuns moved to the new Cornberg monastery, just under 2 km to the north. Bricks, bricks, human skeletons and the remains of the small Bubenbach church were also found during excavations near the forester's lodge.

You can reach the forester's house when you come from the B27, drive directly under the pedestrian tunnel at the junction to Solz, opposite the signal box. Following the path, directly behind the signal box, is the beautiful forester's lodge.
