One of the few places where these rare and beautiful birds still find breeding grounds. The bee-eaters dig holes in the sandy wall and build their nests there. As an observer, you should be calm and respectful and just enjoy the spectacle. Please keep enough distance!

There is also a hide on the larger brood wall where we stayed longer and were able to make exciting observations.
Three pairs of kestrels, various starlings and jackdaws were breeding and the bee-eaters tried to find the right place for their breeding caves.
Jackdaws are cheeky, but one thing! I have never seen a kestrel switch, which was eating its captured mouse on the edge of the steep wall, surprisingly attacked from behind and captured the mouse in the process!
Or the behavior that birds of prey do not attack other birds within a certain radius around the nest, we could see in the kestrel and neighbor star.

Beautiful birds to admire here during the breeding season (May-August).
