Hiking

For a long time this castle ruin was considered a Roman building. In fact, it dates from the Middle Ages. Some consider it a royal residence from the 12th century, others a defensive tower. Later the tabor was used for defense purposes. In 1708 it was fortified with palisades and wooden stakes and yet could not withstand the onslaught of the Kuruzzen.
