From the hotel it went to the Teichalm lake and from there past the Aibl ski lift in the direction of Schweinck. We then switched to hiking trail no.13 and went to the Tyrnauer Alm, where we had a little refreshment in the Tyrnauer Almhütte. Then we made our way to the Rote Wand. Most of the time the path is in the forest and the great heat is bearable here. The closer you get to the summit, the more roots and large stones are on the way, but they are easy to circumvent and there are no dangerous places. At the summit you have a beautiful view of the Gschaidberg and the Schöckl. The visibility today was not as good as in the last few days, it was a little hazy / hazy today. It went back to the Tyrnauer Almhütte and from there down forest path no. 747 to the Mixnitzbach. Along the Mixnitzbach it went back to the Teichalm.

We drove to the Holzmeister inn. From there we walked at the foot of the Osser on the Almenlandweg to the Saukogel and the Sommeralm. Below the Plankogel we went to the Stoakogelhütte. After a little refreshment, we went back along the hut trail to the Kerschbaumalm. From here we went back to the car at Gasthof Holzmeister. Fantastic weather, a good view and the many different shades of green of the alpine pastures and forests made this hike an unforgettable experience.

At this point, a huge thank you to @Alfred, who inspired us to do this hike with his tour on May 10th, 2021! 🙏From the hotel we walked past the Teichalm lake towards Gerlerkogel, on to the Wildkogel and then on to the Gschaidberg. The ascent to Gschaidberg was indescribably beautiful! Wonderful flower meadows at the Hubenhalt and a panoramic view of Styria that couldn't have been more beautiful. But we were also very lucky with a great view of the distance. From Gschaidberg it is only a short descent to the wooden sculpture path. The sculpture path is approx. 2 km long and the wooden sculptures are worth seeing. A local told us that the sculptor used to be a forest worker and started making these sculptures in his free time. Today more than 40 sculptures can be viewed on the way.If you are on the Teichalm, you should definitely take the path to the Gschaidberg, you will be more than rewarded with the view and as a bonus you should look at the wooden sculptures!

After three days, all of my tours, photos, followers and friends are finally back in my Komoot account. Some users said they can see all of my tours and photos, I gladly believed them, but when I got on my account was completely empty - I didn't see anything! Now that my account is no longer an empty page but is filled with all my data again, I can put the first tour on the Teichalm online. We walked from our hotel on the Teichalm along the Mixnitzbach to the "Zum Guten Hirten" snack station. After a good snack, we went a bit towards Hochlantsch and then back to the path next to the Mixnitzbach. We crossed the stream a little later and went back to the Teichalm along the dragon tour route (mountain bike route). A pretty nice route for the first day, but what I was most pleased about was that my ankle didn't cause any problems.

You have to earn good food, so we walked from Kaiser-Ebersdorf to the Prater to the “Englischer Reiter” to meet friends we hadn't seen for almost a year.

A visit to the bee-eater colony near Weiden is always a highlight. Then we went to the Zitzmannsdorf conservation zone in the direction of Podersdorf. We went back to Weiden on the Neusiedler-See-Radweg (B10). There were a lot of cyclists here, but we were able to observe some birds of prey and gray geese here. The heat (about 30 degrees) made us exhausted and we were happy when we were back at the car. A very interesting and beautiful round, but the next time it is 10 degrees less 🥵😉

A leisurely round from Rust to Mörbisch and back in very nice and hot weather. The real purpose in Rust was to watch storks with their young birds 😉 Wherever possible, we deviated from the main connecting routes between the two villages, as there were an insane number of cyclists on the way.

We did this round with friends we hadn't seen for over a year. Chatting with each other wichtiger was more important today than taking pictures or identifying birds and flowers. Since we don't have enough photo material, the fauna and flora lessons are canceled today! 🤣🤣

The morning lap was also a test of what happens after a foot injury if the distance is longer than 10 km. 😕
