Tips
The Gain is a beautiful nature reserve and forest area in the southwestern Wendland (near Bergen / Dumme). There are several small streams here, as well as the Dumme river, which, however, also looks more like a stream here and is very shallow in places. Very nice area for hiking, but also a nice destination for a bike ride.
The Jiggel watermill, which is located on the edge of the Gain, in the village of Jiggel, is also well worth seeing.translated by
