A great hiking trail leads along here past exotic trees. In the northern part of the park, perennials and summer flowers dominate, where some exotic trees still stand today as evidence of Hamburg's trade relations at the time of its creation, including a Ginkgo tree over 150 years old. Very worth seeing.
A very large oak tree is located in the Jenischpark,
near the Jenischhaus stands the oak with a circumference at breast height of 8.40 m.

The Jenischpark is one of the most famous parks in Hamburg and an important landscape garden in Northern Germany. It is located near Hamburg Othmarschen on the Geesthang above the Elbe river near Teufelsbrück. Its total area is 42 hectares, of which 8 hectares are a great nature reserve. With the Jenisch Haus, the Ernst-Barlach Haus, and the Eduard Bargheer Museum, three museums are located directly in the park. A visit is recommended and interesting at the same time 👍🏼.
