Blankenese, a former fishing village, is now one of the wealthiest districts in Hamburg. Past restaurants and hotels that line the promenade of the Elbe beach, you can stroll along the Elbe beach or explore the around 5,000 steps of the Blankeneser stairway district. The stairs district leads from the Elbe beach up to the Süllberg, one of the highest elevations in Hamburg. Those who continue along the beach can explore the Unterfeuer Blankenese lighthouse. It is located in the middle of the Elbe and can be reached via a footbridge.
A little further downstream, on the Falkensteiner Ufer between Blankenese and Rissen, dogs can also spend a relaxing day by the water and let off steam without a leash. With the expansion of the Elbpark on Falkensteiner Ufer, it has also become possible to walk longer on the beach in the direction of Rissen. The Elbe beach can be reached from the Blankenese S-Bahn station with bus 48: The buses on the line are also called Bergziege because they skilfully meander through the steep and narrow streets in Blankenese.

Arriving by S-Bahn and then on foot exploring the Treppenviertel. Continue on foot along the Elbe and at the Teufelsbrücke on the StadtRAD change to the Landungsbrücken. Simply gorgeous 😃
