Bike Touring Highlight
Gjorslev Castle with its 600 years is Denmark's only inhabited medieval castle, built of limestone from Stevns Klint and large bricks. The Gjorslev manor used to cover most of Stevns, today it is still 1,650 hectares of arable land and forest. The park is located south and west of the castle and is decorated in the English style with many free-standing trees. The park itself is about 10 hectares and has a 42 meter long pergola with roses and clematis, which was planted in 1997.There is free access to parts of the large castle park, but the signs "Access forbidden" should also be observed. Visits to the park can be made from the road between Magleby and Holtug through a gate in the small car park.danischeostseeinseln.de/urlaub/planen-sie-ihre-reise/gotspark-gjorslev-gdk1058649
