Hiking

The buildings at Mandehoved date from the Cold War, when the area was part of Copenhagen's air defense. Today, impressive bird migrations can be observed from the old radar tower in spring and autumn. There is also an exhibition on the geology of Stevns Klint. Rare plants grow on the calcareous soil, and a pair of peregrine falcons have been breeding successfully on the cliffs for several years.
