This beautiful mill was built in 1874 to drain the Oostzijds polder. The mill has not been in use since 1950. Today the mill also bears the name Delphine, which was given to it by a French owner who bought the mill in 1952.

In 1486 there was already a polder mill here, which burned down in 1873. The newly built mill is still there today. Until 1950, this water wheel mill drained the 830-hectare Oostzijdse polder. In 1952, the mill became the property of Mr. Souget from Paris, who called it "Delphine" at the time. In 1965 it passed to the current owner and has been used as a holiday home ever since.

Next to this mill there was a second mill from 1840 to 1913, which channeled the excess water into the Angstel River near Baambrugge. In 1913, however, this was dismantled again. This was then sold to Wenum, where it is used as a grain mill.
