The house of the manufacturer S. I. Semenychev was built in the early 20th century in an eclectic style with elements of the "Russian style." It is a two-story red brick building. The beautiful interiors, with tiled stoves and a fireplace, have been preserved and can be explored with permission from museum staff.
The Semenychev House houses the exhibition hall of the Gorokhovets Historical and Architectural Museum. It is a venue for traveling exhibitions from leading museums, as well as anniversary, national, and other significant projects. Festive concerts and creative presentations are held here.
