Himmelsfelsen Viewpoint and Rest Area

The Himmelfelsen is a concise waypoint on the premium hiking trail Himmelssteig. Once you have climbed the rock, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. 👍🤩 Just bring some time and enjoy!

A narrow serpentine path with a partly exposed wayside winds its way up the steep mountain at 500 meters. And suddenly a barren rock face rises above us. The sky rock poses above us and invites you to have a snack at the rest area. Not to forget the sky lounger, which comes at just the right time to relax. Our gaze wanders around and we recognize the farm on the other side of the valley from which we came.
And further on, an unspoilt path makes its way uphill through the rocky landscape and finally ends in a forest path.
