About Reiner 🌲🥾🥰

First comes the wine. From the starting point in Obersulm-Eschenau (S-Bahn connection) it goes first to the vineyards at Eschenauer Paradies. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Weinsberger Valley and the Breitenauer See, the next stop on your hike.If you are not afraid of a few extra meters in altitude, you can take a detour to the wine bar of the winemakers of Weinsberger Tal on the lake shore (please note the opening times). Not only are wines on offer here, but also non-alcoholic drinks and a small snack. The wine bar is signposted from the riverside path.If the wine bar is closed, the campsite restaurant or a kiosk on the opposite side of the lake offers the opportunity to stop and rest.On dirt roads it goes through Affaltrach back to Eschenau.
A wine tasting or a visit to one of our typical taverns round off your hiking tour.
Those who would like to experience a little culture on their way can go on a journey into the past in the school and toy museum in Obersulm-Weiler or in the museum "Synagoge Affaltrach" retrace the history of the Jews in the city and district of Heilbronn.December 31, 2020

Circular hiking trail 10 = from Stocksberg around Steinberg / circular hiking trail 11 = from Stocksberg around and around Aschenberg. Total length of both paths = 7 km, 10 alone = 4.5 km. Description of route 10: We recommend the parking lot at the former KRONE inn, now a lost place. Past the old inn, it goes on a flat, tarred path. On the right hand side we can see the open slopes of the Stocksberg. After about 400 m, at a fork in the road, we follow the path upwards to the right through the meadows. At the top we reach the forest and follow our path straight ahead and gently downhill. After about 600 m a path branches off to the right to Prevorst, but we continue straight on. When we come to a large clearing, we go straight on past the edge of it and at its end we go downhill steeply a short distance to the left. After about 200 m we turn left behind a barn, again at the edge of a large clearing, walk uphill briefly and soon back into the forest. We reach a fork in the road, keep left and soon step out of the forest again and walk, this time the meadow slopes of the Stocksberg on the left, on a flat path back to Stocksberg.
