As early as the 19th century, this was a popular dance hall with an organ, a real draw for Aalst. Construction of the current Art Deco building began in 1923, but due to bankruptcy in 1926, it quickly changed hands and was used as a banquet hall.
After World War II, the city took over the building, which was later replaced by the Lyceum. Today, the hall shines in its restored, original state and serves as a multipurpose space. A protected monument that keeps Aalst's dance history alive.
