The construction project for the construction of the monastery and the church, begun by the Franciscan order between 1221 and 1237, included the existing church of St. Ingenuin and the Erhard chapel. The church tower goes back to the year 1376, the vaults in the church and in the cloister are from the middle of the 15th century. In the cloister fresco fragments from the 14th Century have been preserved, which can be attributed to both the school of Giotto (cycle of the Passion of Christ, 1330) and the linear style (Arma Cristi, 1320 ca).
