The London Bridge is a folding bridge of the Dutch type. It connects the wide Amsterdamstraat, from the Rijnkaai, to the Londenstraat. The passage width is 17.7 meters. The bridge has already been completely replaced twice in its existence. The first London Bridge was similar to the Nassau Bridge, but with a train track. This bridge was built in 1913 and was demolished in 1978 and replaced by a new bridge. IN the summer of 2016 until the end of 2017, the London Bridge was replaced a second time. The bridge has been completely demolished and was replaced by a 2 X 1 lane bridge and a two-track tram line.
