In Eutin, the Great Eutin Lake is just a stone's throw from the old town. If you need to cool off after cultural enjoyment, you don't have to go far. The historic outdoor swimming pool with old changing rooms, wooden bathing jetties and lifeguard's house is just a 5-minute walk from the castle and the old town and is just the thing for families with children and enthusiastic water lovers. During a hiking or cycling tour, small, hidden natural bathing spots are also ideal for a dip in the cool water.
