The reception building was demolished in the early 1970s. The small dead-end track was removed in 1963.

The Raiffeisen store directly at the station (from around 1975, previously a few hundred meters away) and the wood from the surrounding forests were the main sources of freight traffic. The small freight handling area at the reception building was even enlarged in the 1930s, which is unusual for such a small station like Lingerhahn.

The importance as a tariff point even prompted the DB to completely renew the loading track with concrete sleepers in 1985. It didn't help. A few years later the line was closed and the tariff point was removed.

Today there is only a small red diesel locomotive there.
