Hiking

The church was the center of the former Holy Guardian Angel Convent of the English Ladies, founded in 1683, which also included a convent school and later a girls' boarding school. The current building dates from 1731. As a result of secularization, the convent was dissolved, and the sisters relocated to Altötting in 1816. School operations resumed in 1826. Today, the Maria Ward Secondary School is located in the former convent premises.
