This is the Portavadie Ferry Port for the crossing to Tarbert Loch Fyne. This ferry port is unattended and you buy your tickets on board the ferry. Thankfully there's a waiting room, which you may need to use in inclement weather, as well as toilets for public use here.

Make sure you check the timetable before planning your travel here: calmac.co.uk/tarbert-portavadie-ferry-summer-timetable

The ferry is currently limited to 14 pedestrian/cyclist passengers due to COVID19 restrictions.

Bicycle friendly ferry from Portavadie to Tarbet. A quick 30 minute ferry helps connect up adventure loops.

You can check the timings in the CalMac App, but my experience was that the timings are somewhat confusing and not correct. So best to plan for some waiting time.
