Starting from Cardiff Cycle Workshop, an end of year gravel 'n lanes adventure ...An 08:30 coffee awaits those who arrive early at the start, safe and socially distanced, (toilet available) before heading out for 9am. There are no planned stops, so come prepared to be self sufficient: sustenance, equipment, spares, navigation and clothing (for the forecast weather).Covid event rules:
The Welsh Gov rules apply...you or anyone in your household or bubble has symptoms or positive test .. please don't come. Keep 2 meters apart, wash or sanitise hands frequently, especially before eating. You will be expected to provide contact details for track and trace and agree to notify me if you get symptoms unto 7 days after the event.
You may chose to ride in a group (ideally no more than 4) or solo. As event organiser, I have done the Welsh Sport Association Covid 19 safe event training, allowing upto 30 participants. Please note: this event is ridden at your discretion, you are solely responsible for your decision making and are liable for your own actions or in-actions, if you're not happy with taking responsibility for yourself, its best you don't come. There is no post ride beer (unfortunately alcohol is not allowed under WAG covid rules for organised events) so the ride will finish in Tongwynlais, where you can book a table in the Lewis Arms for a beer or jus head home from there.
