All the way from Partick to the centre of Edinburgh on traffic free paths, mostly along the Forth and Clyde + Union canals (occasionally swearing at the tree roots!). Then the usual mix of poorly joined up paths, tracks and potholes roads on NCN 76

Lovely crisp, sunny, late autumn day. Good ride out, mostly on NCN7 getting onto the old railway path at Paisley Canal. Back on a mixture of roads and cycle paths. Got slightly lost a couple of times on the way back. Unfortunately, even 45mm tyres don't offer much traction on black ice and I came a cropper

The highest hill on Lewis. A relatively straightforward ascent, avoiding the worst of the boulder field. Great views over Lewis and surrounding islands plus St Kilda out to the West!
