Good on ya! Looks like good weather. The local bikers call the route up from there and back down to south from whence you came "around the block". Enjoy Palm Canyon. Possible to see Orioles up there, as well as Desert Bighorns.

Yikes! 7k climbing on fully loaded bike! Gravel, single track trail included.
Hoping the bright blue skies meant fairly cool weather. Good on ya.
Chance for a shower and a respite from climbing and heat. Hope you're not too stiff, or worse, from crash.
