The church of the Protestant Martin Luther community in Falkenstein was built from 1912 to 1914.

    History:
In 1914, with the inauguration of the Martin Luther Church (which at that time was simply called Evangelical Church), a long-cherished wish of the Protestant community came true. Citizens of the Protestant confession had existed since the Reformation, but their own church was missing. It was not until the opening of the officers' convalescent home (now Hotel Falkenstein Grand Kempinski) in 1909 that the possibility of church construction with imperial support opened up.
The building was commissioned by renowned Herborner master builder Ludwig Hofmann (1862-1933), who had already designed and built the church in Königstein (1886-1888).
The church in Falkenstein nestles on the steep southern slope of a rock face and marks the end of the Debusweges forest.
The interior is given its character by the altarpiece "Christ in the garden of Gethsemane" by Ferdinand Brütt, member of the Kronberg painting colony. Many of the furnishings (altar, pulpit, etc.) were donated by local families. T. remember the attached coat of arms.
The nave is spanned by a wooden tonneau ceiling, which corresponds to the repetitive arch forms. On the left opens the former imperial lodge, which originally had a separate entrance. The color scheme was realized by the Frankfurt church painter Rudolf Linnemann.
The church today offers 180 seats. She is popular for family celebrations such as weddings and baptisms. Currently she is receiving an extension for a new community hall designed by the architect Prof. Christoph Mäckler.

Unfortunately, the small evangelical church, which looks pretty from the outside, is often closed. Located just around the corner from Hotel Falkenstein Grand
