Hiking Highlight
The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Lukas, also called Lukaskirche, was the third Evangelical Lutheran church building in Munich. The church was built from 1893 to 1896 according to plans by Albert Schmidt. St. Lukas is the only almost completely preserved Protestant church of historicism in Munich. Due to its soaring crossing dome, the two side towers and its overwhelming interior, it is also known as the "Protestant cathedral".

Beautiful church in Munich - a very wonderful photo spot. From the cable bridge or from the banks of the Isar at the blue hour ... I love it!
