Dent is the only village in the picturesque Dentdale. With characteristic cobbled streets, a pink granite fountain in the centre, a 12th-century church, cafes, pubs, shops, and more, it is a popular spot with hikers and a lovely place to explore.

Very scenic and unspoilt village with a cobbled centre. Very full of tourists and a lot of the houses are now holiday lets but the village still looks as it would have done a long while ago. There are two pubs to visit - the Sun Inn, which is recommended as a stopping point for touring cyclists, and the George and Dragon, which is the brewery tap for Dent Brewery.

Beautiful little Yorkshire village. Good parking to start rides from and a few cafes (never sampled)
