Nice climb into the western highlands and further towards Lommatzscher Pflege with nice curves (which are really fun, especially downhill). Very little traffic outside of rush hour. Asphalt is great. The climb is long and gets steeper towards the end, but I always think it's nice to drive this way because you have beautiful views over the landscape and you can look downhill at Dresden, Radebeul and the vineyards. In my opinion it is the best option because the alternatives are either very urban (Dresden-Leutewitz/Gorbitz or Cossebaude) or even steeper (Nieder-/Oberwartha). You can also take a break in the newly opened bistro in Rennersdorf.

I can only agree with Olaf. The rise pulls and pulls. Is a bit in the legs. Pay attention to the places where cars are parked. When overtaking maneuvers from behind, it can sometimes get tight on the road at these points.

The rise into the highlands continues. I don’t like to drive so much but is probably the best option uphill in the corner.
