Please check local regulations for: Natuurreservaat De Tösch
Here lies - to be precise - the Tösch, the swampy area with its marshes (of course), pools, ditches, many water birds, tree frogs, Konik horses and Galloways (to see them you of course have to go through the grazing area and that means leaving paths). It is separated from the Langeren by the Bosbeek. The area, managed mainly by Limburgs Landschap vzw, is referred to everywhere, including on the information boards, as the Tösch-Langeren nature reserve.

In the area around the pond in the Tösch nature area there are free-range Konik horses and a herd of free-roaming cattle. The area is directly accessible only outside the bird breeding season (blocking period from 15 March to 30 June). The animals can also be well observed from the roadside.

The Natuurgebied Tösch-Langeren has north of the Bosbeek (part "Longer") meadows, pasture and arable land with hedges and forest. South of the Bosbeek (part "Tösch"), the landscape is characterized by swampy areas, forest areas and meadows with pools and a large pond. Konik horses and cattle can be found here.
