Tips
Bergerven is a former gravel extraction site transformed into lakes where nature is given space again in the northernmost point of the Hoge Kempen - between Maaseik and Dilsen-Stokkem. Manager Limburgs Landschap uses large grazers to manage the area. The lakes cover more than 50 hectares of open water.
