The Platzmeisterhaus (Courtmaster's House) was built as a massive sandstone structure in 1838. It is the former residential and administrative building of the Royal Ironworks Christophs- and Friedrichstal, as well as the seat of the "Platzmeister" (Courtmaster).
Some parts of the interior are still in their original condition from the time of construction.
The building belongs to the Freudenstadt Monument Society.

Built in 1838, the Platzmeisterhaus combines industrial history with Biedermeier-style living. Today, it serves as a preserved, original meeting place with a museum feel.
The adjacent Biedermeier garden retains its historic structure with carved hedge columns, runner stones, and a natural sandstone wall. Traditional vegetables and ornamental plants lend it a special charm.
