Main part of the east side: Palazzo Solaro del Borgo, a long, three-story palace with an elegant facade and colonnades, based on a unique 17th-century design by Castellamonte for the Marquis De Senantes. Later remodeled in 1753 by Benedetto Alfieri for the Isnardi di Caraglio family, it was sold in 1770 to the Asinari family of Bernezzo, who resold it in 1782 to the Solaro del Borgo family.
