Turin ist eine Reise wert. Auch, wenn das Piemont nicht immer hübsch ist, Turin ist es. Parken in einer citynahen Tiefgarage. Von da quer durch eine Stadt mit viel altem und schönen Baubestand. Highlight sicherlich das Gebäude des Kinomuseums. Das höchste gemauerte Bauwerk der Welt,. Viele schöne Passagen, der Dom mit dem Turiner Grabtuch und viele weitere schöne Kirchen. Der eine Tag reicht einfach nicht. Ich komme wieder, vor allem, weil ich Turin auch mal am Abend sehen will.

Heute Alba, die Stadt der Trüffel. Parken easy und kostenlos am Stadtrand ca. 5 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Ein wundervolles Städtchen mit einer tollen tourist info. Trüffel, Trüffel, Trüffel. Allerdings sind sie nur ca. 10 Tage haltbar, müssen halt sofort gegessen werden. Besser ist Trüffelcreme, direkt eingesackt. Die Tour läuft viele Straßen 2 mal, weil wir ein Restaurant gesucht haben. Ferrogosto schlägt zu. Nehmt Euch ein wenig Zeit und genießt den Flair, ein gutes Essen und lasst die Seele baumeln.

Heute stand Asti im Piemont auf dem Programm. Parken war schwierig, da Markt. Aber dann doch schnell was Gutes gefunden. Leider Rucksack im Auto gelassen und zurückgelaufen. Nicht nachmachen. Asti ist schon typisch Piemont. So ein wenig das echte Italien. Hier ist alles ein wenig runter gerockt, aber sauber. Die Stadt rüstet sich gerade für den Palio und es ist ferragosto, vieles geschlossen. Insgesamt aber ein rustikales Städtchen, das einem Italien näher bringt.

The Oberbergisches Land region is simply hiking country. Parking at Drabenderhöhe is free and easy. As always, the trail is sunny.
