Hiking

With light snow and a little haze... wow... that's something!

Hiking

The tallest structure on the Grosser Feldberg is a 116 m high tubular mast belonging to the Hessischer Rundfunk.

Mountaineering

In addition to the transmission mast are on the Feldberg plateau three other towers, one of which is to climb. The observation tower on the Großer Feldberg is also the hiking center of the Taunusclub. In good weather you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view over the skyline of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main area up to the mountains of the Odenwald. In perfect weather even a distant view to Strasbourg should be possible.
