At first I thought: the Drachenschlucht in winter?! ... Yeah perfect, few people but lots of water. To be honest, I walked the Drachenschlucht twice, once to take photos (and since I was alone, I had a lot of time for that 🤷🏻♀️) and once just to enjoy it. Due to the "high" water level, it was really

Hey, did I find you! It was an incredibly strenuous but beautiful tour. 36°C did the rest 🙈 Thanks again for the saving hand! 😄 Is it possible to write privately here? Best regards!

It was a nice tour, finally with sun again.
I would like to give you a tip: after the small playground at the Staudenbächle (that's where I took the pictures of the creek, again a lot 😉), you walk up to the Wolfsackerweg and there you turn onto the Burgweg. This is a small, unmarked trail at the beginning

I just wanted to get out today, even though the weather wasn't exactly inviting.
Surprisingly, the visibility was really good in places. However, the paths were sometimes sooo muddy due to the rain that I really sunk. The path isn't always the goal 😉.
If you're down on the Rhine again, I can really recommend

I ran the 10th and 11th stage together, which is quite possible, especially if you don't dawdle like me 😜.
The via ferrata in the 10th stage is easy to do, even for children who are able to climb.
I can recommend the Elfenlay trail to the Schönburg in Oberwesel. It's more interesting than the "normal" ascent.

Sorry, there are an incredible number of pictures of the waterfalls in the gorge. I got a little carried away despite the rain 🤷🏻♀️. I can currently recommend the gorge because water is actually flowing now. That's not so much in summer. Now, however, it is muddy and slippery. Good shoes are really an advantage.
