This 3-storey cantilevered house (16th century) is perhaps the finest example of a lantern house. The facade is decorated with statues of saints and grotesques. The beautiful sculpted decorations of the interior have also been preserved. The covered courtyard is lit by skylights. In one of the corners, a beautiful spiral staircase with an 11-metre-high, one-piece spindle leads to the galleries of the different floors. Images of various saints are carved into the golden pillar itself. Between the first and second floors, the beautiful sculpture of an acrobat on a barrel deserves extra attention

Hiking

A half-timbered house dating from 1530 with a four-story covered courtyard heated by a large fireplace. The wooden spiral staircase and bridge galleries with their magnificent carvings are impressive. The €3 entrance fee is well worth it.
