From Ziegelbrücke, a hiking trail, a lateral drainage canal and other energy routes run parallel to the Linth Canal on the dams. The construction work was completed in 2013: (see "Linth" at Wikipedia)
The new Linthwerk is a local recreation area for the population and attracts many walkers and cyclists on around 70 kilometers of routes along the canals.
