From Hirzli a beautiful ridge path leads to Planggenstock. On the way there are always views on both sides and it is just a nice narrow path, my favorite section on the hike from Niederunen up to the Hirzli and Planggenstock. The road is not very exposed, but a little bit of heights should be better, but really only a little bit.
