The Norbertus Chapel is located on the Reichensteiner Str. Near Reichenstein Abbey. The construction took place on the initiative of the then pastor Winterscheid. Construction began in 1925, the consecration took place on June 6, 1926 by Vicar General Dr. med. Vogt.

The Norbertus Chapel is not far from the monastery Reichenstein beyond the Rurbrücke in the direction of Kalterherberg located church building. Next to the chapel flows a small stream that flows into the Rur. The chapel is registered under the number 380 in the monument list of Monschau.
It was built from quarry stone in 1926 in memory of St. Norbertus, the founder of the Premonstratensian Order. The chapel is octagonal with a round arch portal, curved roof and onion hood. From the street, the L 106, two staircases lead directly to the interior. The client was the architect Forthmann from Cologne.
In the middle of the chapel there is a statue of St. Judas Thaddeus, to the left of which a sgraffito wall painting depicts the image of St. Joseph of Steinfeld, on the right the image of St. Norbert of Xanten. In the interior there are numerous panels of believers who thank St. Judas Thaddeus or St. Norbert for his intercession with God.
